At CPUCC, we believe that we are life-long learners. Education and faith formation are not only for children. On Sunday mornings, we offer three (3) Sunday School classes for adults, all held in rooms on our main level.

Pastor Cindy leads some Faith Formation Groups at CPUCC.
All are welcome! These include Spiritual Springboards (Tuesday night discussions on Zoom), Bible Study on Thursdays at 2pm (both on Zoom and in person at the church), and Women’s Spirituality (Second Monday of the month).

Spiritual Springboards (online)
Spiritual Springboards is a discussion group that meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. via Zoom from August to June. Topics vary during the year and include lively discussions based on a book or videos.
Bible Study (hybrid)
Bible Study is led by Pastor Cindy on Thursdays at 2 p.m. via Zoom from August to June. Study guides are provided, along with questions for discussion.
Women’s Spirituality Group (at church)
Led by Pastor Cindy, the Women’s Spirituality Group meets most months from September through June on the first Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Attendance is via Zoom or in-person. There is a yearly theme, usually centered around a book that is read throughout the year. Format includes 30 minutes of check-in and prayer requests, 45 minutes of personal contemplative exercises and prayer time, and 45 minutes of book discussion.

Social Justice Book Club
The Social Justice Book Club meets quarterly via Zoom to discuss books on social justice topics such as racism and immigration. The book club promotes education and awareness of issues, open discussion and sharing of related experiences, and brainstorming on what our Christian response should be. Saturday Stillness Retreat
Patricia Snyder leads mini retreats each Saturday at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom, for anyone who wishes to attend. These mini retreats focus on the contemplative prayer practices of breathing prayers, Lectio Divina, stillness/silence, welcoming prayer, and other spiritual practices. If desired, please have your journal/notebook with you and a Bible. Contact Patricia if you are interested in participating.
Prayer Group
Most Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m., a prayer group meets via Zoom with Pastor Cindy to share prayer concerns followed by prayer time. Contact Pastor Cindy if you are interested in participating as there are some weeks we are not able to gather together.
