Serving Globally

“Restoring hope and community to all of God’s children” includes showing love to our neighbors across the globe. CPUCC does this in a variety of ways.
Contact our Service Deacon if you need more information or wish to serve along with us.

Join a Mission Trip

Each year CPUCC sends a mission team to Tennessee for a week to work with the Morgan-Scott Project. We’ve done many projects like building wheelchair ramps, sorting clothes for the thrift shop, serving at a local food pantry, painting at a homeless shelter, rehabilitating homes, and even planting flowers. This is a wonderful opportunity to show God’s love and experience it also! Donations for the projects are also accepted.

Donate to the G-BIACK Mission Fund

CPUCC has a mission fund that supports the Grow Biointensive Agricultural Center of Kenya (G-BIACK). G-BIACK trains and promotes grow biointensive agriculture methods and other techniques for sustainability among small-scale farm holders in Central, Eastern, and Nairobi provinces in Kenya.

Since two-thirds of the farmers are women, there is also a Women’s Centre that teaches nutrition, skills for income generation, general health and hygiene, HIV/AIDS awareness, home care, environmental awareness, and computer skills.

Support Church World Service

CPUCC disciples assemble hygiene, school, or clean-up kits for Church World Service (CWS) to help struggling families and children in the United States and around the world. Our church also serves as a collection point for kits assembled by others. In addition, we collect donations for blankets that are distributed by CWS for our worldwide neighbors suffering through disasters and emergencies.

Donate to One Great Hour of Sharing

One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) is an annual special mission offering of the United Church of Christ, who collaborates with domestic and international partners to support humanitarian aid and sustainable development. Gifts to OGHS provide much-needed resources to assist our partners in providing clean water, food, education, health care, small business micro-credit, emergency relief, advocacy, and resettlement for refugees.
