Rick and Terry Cochran
Rick and Terry Cochran have lived in Susquehanna Township for more than 30 years. The couple met as students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and were married in September 1989. They are the parents of two adult children – Colin who lives in Baltimore and Grace/Scotty who lives in Brooklyn. The much-loved baby of the family is their almost 16-year-old Beagle/Dachshund mix, Joei.
Terry is originally from Annville, PA and was raised in the Catholic Church. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from IUP and a master’s degree in public administration from Penn State. She is currently the Executive Director of the Assessors’ Association of Pennsylvania and the Senior Meeting Planner for the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania.
Rick grew up outside of Indiana, PA and was baptized in the Presbyterian Church. He converted to Catholicism after he married Terry. Rick has a degree in journalism and is currently the Director of Communications and Member Services for the Pennsylvania Builders Association.
Both Terry and Rick were very involved in raising the kids as scout leaders, volunteering at St. Margaret Mary School, and through sports like swim team and basketball.
After raising their children in the Catholic faith and seeing them both graduate from Bishop McDevitt High School, Rick and Terry decided to stop attending the Church when they felt their values no longer aligned.
In their spare time, they enjoy watching movies at Midtown Cinema, traveling, reading, and spending time together and with their family.
They started attending CPUCC over a year ago and have enjoyed the community and the positive messages. They both look forward to getting involved.
